Affiliate disclosure

Some comparison pages can carry affiliate links. When one does, the link is marked rel="sponsored nofollow", the disclosure sits next to it rather than in a footer, and the table says plainly which rows pay a commission and which do not.

Three rules that do not bend

• Commission never sets the order of a comparison. Ordering comes from the criteria printed at the top of the table.
• A provider that pays nothing is never removed from a comparison for that reason.
• A link only goes live after the programme has been approved and recorded. Until then the row shows the provider with no link.

Calculator results are never adjusted to favour an advertiser. The engines do not know that advertisers exist.

If a page ever carries sponsored content, it will be labelled as sponsored at the top, not at the bottom.
